STEP 1 — Install and set up the Arduino software —

Mac:

Windows:

Linux:

For my Mac, the Chinese Arduinos needed additional driver to see the board.

This worked for me to be able to see the Arduino:

But, if you might need a driver for Linux or Windows:

You also need the latest Java Virtual Machine if not installed:

STEP 2 — Attach the Arduino UNO

STEP 3 — Run the Arduino software

STEP 4 — Open and the Arduino the blink sketch example —

Open: File > Examples > 01.Basics > Blink

STEP 5 — Download the Blink sketch to the Arduino

STEP 6 — Send a video to me that it worked!

Then learn some mad skills.
